SMD Assembly
SMD assembly is the process by which electrical components are mechanically mounted directly onto circuit boards. Mounting can be one-sided or two-sided. The components can be assembled either using glue or by traditional soldering.

Automated Optical Inspection
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) is the automated visual inspection of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). A camera is used to scan the board in extremely fine detail to check for signs of failure, soldering issues, and other defects. In order for this process to work, the circuit boards must have been designed with the AOI process in mind.
